Access Roles - Viewer

This is a view-only role for browsing work and leaving feedback. It's best for clients and stakeholders who need to review content but should not edit, download, or share the assets themselves.

Access Roles - Viewer

Permissions:​

  • View permitted asset / project folder / workspace
  • Comment, reply, draw annotations, and attach files
  • View comment topics
  • View version history and version comparisons
  • Update asset status
  • View subtitles
  • Edit folder notifications (uploads, ingest, frequency)

Limitations:​

  • Cannot download content, comment attachments, or subtitles
  • Cannot create, upload, edit, organize, move, copy, rename, or delete folders or content
  • Cannot add versions, set a version as main, or detach versions
  • Cannot create, edit, or archive comment topics
  • Cannot edit notes or custom metadata fields
  • Cannot generate, edit, or translate subtitles
  • Cannot invite users or manage permissions
  • Cannot view Analytics
  • Cannot edit asset protections
  • Cannot open Settings (Access management, Usage, Billing)
  • Cannot share externally
  • Cannot hide an asset
  • Cannot view or export to MediaStore or external connections
