Add More Translations
Once an asset has subtitles, you can spin up more languages from them at any time, either by asking MediaBench to translate or by uploading subtitle files you already have. This is how you grow one asset into a multi-language release without starting over.
This page assumes your asset already has MediaBench subtitles. If it has none yet, start with Add Initial Subtitles and Translations.
Request a translation
- Click Options (the multi-character icon) under the Subtitles tab
- Select the translation languages you want from the menu
- Click Request translations
Upload your own
To use a subtitle file you already have, select Upload subtitles (the up-arrow icon) under the Subtitles tab. When uploading, you can set Audio track to tie the subtitles to a specific audio track. This field appears only when the asset has more than one audio track.
