Remove an Asset

Removing an asset takes it out of your active view without destroying it. Removed assets are kept and can be restored, so it's a safe way to clear finished or unwanted items out of the way.

The asset actions menu with the Remove option

Remove an asset

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the asset you want to remove
  2. Select Remove
  3. Confirm in the Remove dialog that appears

Find and restore removed assets

  1. In the toolbar, open the view dropdown that shows Active by default (its dropdown heading is Status) and choose Removed. This is the toolbar view mode, not the Status filter inside the Filters panel.
  2. Open the three-dot menu on a removed asset
  3. Select Restore to bring it back to your active view
  4. Confirm in the Restore dialog that appears

Good to know

  • While an asset is removed, you can't open it or make changes. Restore it first to work with it again.
  • Removing a folder removes everything inside it, too.
